Intertidal Edibles Foraging at Ecola State Park


We took a class through Wildcraft on Coastal foraging at Ecola State Park. During the class we had the opportunity to learn how to forage for seaweed, mussels and other intertidal edibles. After foraging with our teacher, he demonstrated how to cook what we had foraged as a group, and we had a chance to try it. It was yummy!

Once the class was over with we took advantage of the low tide before it came back in and gathered some mussels and seaweed for ourselves to take home.
